Tới hôm nay tháng October năm 2009, Ban Nhạc Tình nguyện ROF (Reaching Out Foundation) đã thực hiện đựơc 210 lần chương trình văn nghệ giúp vui, vẫn còn tiếp tục, để đem niềm vui đến cho những ngừơi cần niềm vui tại các nursing home tại Orange County.
Hằng tuần chúng tôi gặp hằng mấy chục vị thừơng trú nhân, không phân biệt màu da chủng tộc. Mỗi vị chúng tôi đều có một kỷ niệm riêng biệt, có một số quý vị nổi bật như là tham gia ca hát với chúng tôi, hoặc tỏ lòng cám ơn chúng tôi rất là cảm động, trong số đó có một bà cụ rất là để thương, bà rất sáng suốt, yêu văn nghệ, lúc nào cũng vỗ tay theo nhịp của bai hát, chúng tôi xin mời quý vị xem hình một bà cụ rất là đẹp lão, cách nay mấy năm chúng tôi có hỏi tuổi thì đựơc bà cụ cho biết, lúc đó, bà đã 99 tuổi, vì quá thương bà chúng tôi xin chụp một tấm hình làm kỷ niệm, sau nầy vì sức khỏe yếu bà không có ra chơi với chúng tôi và rồi chúng tôi không còn gặp bà nửa, xin mời quý vị xem hình của bà cụ và hình ảnh sinh hoạt văn nghệ của ROF tại nursing home.

History
Reaching Out Foundation, formerly Nhom Thien Hoi Glendale, began its work in 1992, mobilized a grassroots effort to establish and organize a non-profit organization. Reaching Out Foundation is now recognized as an IRS 501 (c) (3) charitable organization and has continued its second decade to work to help orphanages, the elderly and disabled patients in nursing homes.
Our Mission
To reach out and offer educational and financial assistance to those who have the will but not the means to lead a meaningful, dignified and peaceful existence.
Objectives
-To work directly with administrators and caretakers of orphanages, hospitals and nursing homes in Viet Nam.
-To provide exemplary civic and community volunteerism for younger generations.
Operation
-Reaching Out Foundation receives no government funding. Its resources come from general public support and fundraising. Currently, all staff members are volunteers and receive no compensation for their services. Administrative costs are currently covered by the founders and sponsors.
-Reaching Out Foundation provides support through charitable agencies that care for the disabled children, orphans and elderly people in Viet Nam and in the United States. These agencies must be reputable, embrace and have in-lined purpose with the Mission Statement and Objectives of the Reaching Out Foundation.

• Solicit donations from individuals and corporations
-Community Out Reach
• Perform free live entertainment for nursing homes in Orange County, California
• Publish reports on ROF’s website
